How do  avocados  help to enhance the beauty of skin &hair?

  Avocados are bright green fruits with a large pit and dark leathery skin. They’re also known as alligator pears or butter fruit. Avocados are rich in  antioxidants vitamin C and E which are extremely good for repairing your skin from sun induced photo-damage and oxidative stress resulting from various pollutants of environment.

Avocados help not only in  enhancing the glow and brightness of skin but also they prevent age related changes of facial skin. The fruit repairs damaged hair also improving the health of scalp and hair follicles because of the richness of B –complex and C & E vitamins.

 Avocados are rich in folates and minerals like magnesium and potassium. Potassium promotes faster cell renewal and make your skin look younger .It also promotes hair growth improving cell renewal on scalp.

Magnesium is also essential for hair growth and increases firmness of skin. Avocados are good source of magnesium which improves the health of hair follicles.

Both the oral intake as well as topical application of avocados as face packs and hair masks are beneficial to skin and hair. Regular intake of half of an avocado daily and its topical application as face or hair packs at specified intervals will help your skin look radiant and glowing .

Avocado face packs are extremely beneficial to both men and women, as  regular face masks and packs to hydrate , moisturize and cleanse your skin removing all the impurities. It will also brighten your complexion and skin tone removing dead cells and suntan. Face pack of avocado can not only improve your skin but it can lift your spirit by stimulating senses if it is mixed with soothing ingredients like essential oils.


    Avocado, Milk and Honey Face Pack for moisturized bright and soft skin.

This avocado pack will brighten the complexion and the radiance of skin as the antioxidants will nourish your skin repairing the stress induced damage. Vitamin E will repair your skin and it may remove dark circles around the eyes. Milk and honey are natural skin lightening and softening agents.

How to make and apply:

Scoop the flesh out of ripe avocado [half of the avocado] and mash it into a creamy paste.  Mix it with 3 tbsp of milk and 1 tbsp of honey added to it. Stir well and apply on the face and neck. Leave the mask to dry out. Rinse off after 25-30 minutes with plain water.  Regular use of this face pack will hydrate and smoothen your skin. Use this pack once in a week for better results.

       Avocado Lemon and Honey Face Pack for improved skin tone

It is an excellent de-tanning as well as natural oil balancing face mask.

How to make and apply: 

Scoop out the buttery creamy pulp of half part of an avocado and mash it into a paste. Add in 1 tbsp of honey, and half a squeeze of lemon.  Mix well, and apply on the face and neck, rinse off after 20 minutes. Pat your face gently –don’t rub your skin dry with a towel. Use it once in a week to get a glossy radiant skin removing the suntan.

  

Avocado kiwi, yoghurt anti-ageing & rejuvenating face pack

This is a good anti-ageing face pack.  It combines the goodness of avocado and kiwi which are rich in Vitamin C and E. Kiwi has vitamin C more than an orange has. Both avocado and kiwi are effective antioxidants to combat stress and help in collagen formation too. The black seeds of kiwi contain omega 3fatty acids. Yoghurt in this face pack supports to maintain elasticity of skin and reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

How to make and apply:

    Take one small avocado and one kiwi fruit and mash the pulp of both of them into a creamy paste. Add yoghurt to this paste and mix well.  Apply on the face and neck .Keep it for half an hour, and rinse off with cold water.  Regular use will enhance the radiance of your face making it soft and supple and it will reduce wrinkles and ageing lines on your face. It is an amazingly good rejuvenating face pack.


   Avocado, yoghurt, olive oil & licorice, sandal wood depigmentation & de-stressing Face Pack

   This is a good anti-ageing depigmentation and de -stressing face pack. Its regular use removes pigmentation related to ageing and sun exposure.

Licorice  has glycyrrhicizin which reduces skin related inflammations. It softens skin and regenerate collagen and elastin of skin along with vitamin C and E rich ingredients of the pack.

     It combines the goodness of avocado, olive oil and yoghurt which are rich in Vitamin C and E both are effective antioxidants to combat stress and helps in collagen formation too. The black seeds of kiwi contain omega 3fatty acids.

    Licorice powder is very much helpful in removing sun induced dark spots and age spots and thus brightening your skin. This face pack even out your skin tone reducing acne and pimples related scars of face. The antioxidants in licorice reduce free radical damage and sun damage to skin.

Yoghurt in this face pack supports to maintain elasticity of skin and reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Olive has monounsaturated fat called oleic acid, making up 73% of the total oil content. Olive oil reduces oxidative damage, and it is anti-inflammatory promoting dermal reconstruction. Sandal wood powder acts as a natural astringent and tightens the skin, making it look more firm. It absorbs the excess oil and cleanses the skin. It has great cooling effect on the skin.

How to make and apply:

Scoop out the pulp out of a ripe avocado make it into a paste and add in 2 tbsp of yogurt and 1 tbsp of olive oil, add 2tbsp of licorice powder and 2tbps of sandalwood powder.  Mix everything well and apply on the face and neck. Let it dry. Rinse off after 20 minutes.  Pat gently. This face pack will certainly add glow and brightness to your skin. After this pack you may apply a few drops of vitamin E oil or some vitamin E rich cream if you have a dry skin.


                                         Avocado hair pack


Avocados are very effective hair packs for all hair types to achieve silky lustrous glossy hair as they are rich in polyunsaturated and monosaturated fatty acids. Avocados are rich in Biotin, vitamin B2, B3 &B6 vitamins, vitamin C&E. The richness of minerals like potassium &magnesium also promote hair growth and shine. The combined use of avocado as a part of diet and in your hair masks help to achieve the full benefits .

Avocado hair conditioner pack

Blend half part of an avocado pulp made into a paste with one egg, 2tsp of olive oil and 3tbsp of milk. Mix well all these ingredients well into a creamy paste. Apply the mixture all over the hair staring from scalp. You may increase the quantity of the ingredients depending on the length and volume of your hair. Keep it for 15-20 minutes and wash off with water. This pack will give you shiny smooth and silky hair .It  may also strengthen hair roots and promote  hair growth improving circulation and cleansing the scalp.
